In December of 2024, Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Relief (CDBG-DR) funds were allocated to Guam through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). A total of $500,825,000 was appropriated by the U.S. Congress to support recovery efforts from Typhoon Mawar. These funds will be administed by the Guam Housing and Urban Renewal Authority (GHURA). GHURA has named the grant program "Fix in Six".
